So, it appears, doing both days of the Winter Art Sale is brilliant!”, Remus told himself. He would have to consider that concept for the following year. “Hmmm, he sighed, maybe I should look into the possibility of joining another holiday sale”, thinking out loud. “I’ll have to stow that thought for next year”.

The day before the trip

The day had been a dismal day, and Remus was glad work was over. He was sooo looking forward to this, Remus and Haimige adventure. Haimige had talked about going to the Christmas markets in Germany, but the trip had sold out. Remus was determined to do something before the year ended. He discovered Montreal and Quebec City, Canada offered their version of the European markets which became the ideal alternative.

The night was young and all his gear was packed, he decided to do some last minute baking before they left for the trip. While things were baking, he made himself a cocktail and settled in for the evening.

Chapter the third

Remus waited eagerly for Haimige to pick him up. Haimige had decided he wanted to drive them to Canada. The weather was gloomy, but not too threatening. He hoped the ride was a pleasant journey to Montreal after all they were traveling North through the mountains.
