“Oh my head!  I had such a good time at that restaurant I forgot how dreadful this room is.  Can you explain that side room to me?  You know, I don’t even feel good about putting my suitcase on the floor it’s so, so weird in here”, retorted Remus holding his suitcase and looking around.

“Yep”, murmured Haimige, looking up and shaking his head in agreement, as he lay atop of his bed watching, The Sound of Music with his bags on the other side of him.  “Bummer, it’s probably too late to ask for a room change”,  inquired Remus.  “Yep, Keep me safe, O mighty God.  I run for dear life to you, my Safe Place.”  “Did you just pray or was that a Psalm?”, asked Remus.  “Probably a little of both—Psalm 16:1”,  Haimige said with a laugh.

They slept atop the covers with their bags next to them and in the morning they grabbed their stuff and headed to breakfast.

“We will speak not a word about this to anyone.  The creepy 70s room in Montreal that we were too afraid to sleep inside the beds or leave our suitcases on the floor.  Not one word!”,  whispered Remus. “Agreed”,  replied Haimige, shaking his head.  Then he took another bite of his croissant and sip of coffee.
