Mother Daughter Day

Describe your most ideal day from beginning to end.

My ideal day would be to have a day with my daughter. We meet up for breakfast and get in the car and drive to either a familiar spot or a new one. We each reminisce about past times and laugh our heads off. Or bring a tear to the eye, because of something special happened that you were completely unaware. Once when I visited her in LA, we were driving and a song came on. He lives in You by Jason Raize. It’s from the Lion King (original). I had gotten tickets for the family for Christmas, and two of my three brothers complained about the seats. That’s what has always stuck in mind, but she said, Oh Mom, this song is from the Lion King; that was the first time I ever saw the uncles cry.

Somehow this day ends up being one for the memory books.

Those are the ideal days for me, when you’re given a nugget of the truth about your life.

There’s no mountain to great, hear the words and have faith….
