Write about a few of your favorite family traditions.

I know that most use stockings as a way to keep their children calm on Christmas morning. I understand the concept. However, in our home, we did it in the evenings. I felt it was another way to keep the energy of day going.

My daughter had a fairly large stocking and many times there would be nice treats inside the stocking. Like maybe something she really wanted, and it appeared she didn’t get.

I still open my stocking in the evening. Most of the stuff in it is items I put in there through out the holiday season. And sometimes I forget what I dropped in there. So I’m surprised.
