Where did your name come from?

I love this one! When I was younger everyone pronounced my name wrong. And my mom would call me Jan which I always thought was weird. I said why do you call me Jan instead of Jen. She said people are pronouncing your name wrong. They say Jenelle instead of Janiele (like the pronunciation of Danielle). Folks are thrown off by the one ‘l’. I got your name from a movie., my mom said.

I can’t remember the name of the movie, but I did see it at a driven-in theater when I was a kid.

Interesting, I did the same thing with my daughter; I got her name from a movie.
