Do you remember life before the internet?

Yes. Live was simpler. You sought information from the library, encyclopedia, or National Geographic. The TV stopped broadcasting at midnight and the National anthem was played and you would have white noise until the station would start broadcasting again at 6am.

You didn’t have all the concerns you do now. Today when people say, ‘didn’t you see the news?’. I say, No, I don’t have TV.’ It’s not that don’t have a TV, I just prefer not to stream everything. It becomes overwhelming. I listen to a few hours of talk radio and that keeps me well informed.

The amount of information we receive daily is more information than folks received in a decade in the 40’s.
