What do you do to be involved in the community?

I am bit manic bordering on anal retentive when it comes to litter. I was raised in which one did not litter. Even a small candy wrapper was to be pocketed if there isn’t a barrel in sight.

I don’t own, I rent. So I am always picking up loose trash outside and around the entrance of my building. For the flyers left in the post, I either find a paper bag for those that are tossed by folks who choose to not bring to their homes. Or I simply pick them up myself and deposit them into the bin at the end of the hallway. This is my way of giving to my community of fellow renters. I would like think that if I owned I would be more personally involved with my community, but for now this is my contribution.
