I got a glimpse of my book character through the eyes of a friend’s instagram illustration. She was in my bible discussion group and I had no idea she even did art much less illustration. I just knew from talking to her my book, that had sat on my shelf for over 20 years waiting to be illustrated, was going to be published. And it was, The Story of Gingerbread is available on all the platforms in print and electronic formats. I’m pushing folks towards Barnes and Noble because they are the last of the big book stores that one can go to with their cafes and freedom to just sit with a cup of coffee or tea and be inspired.

Now, I’m on the verge of my second book, a sequel and a graphic novel.
