Describe something you learned in high school.
Marilyn Monroe said, ‘Give a girl the right pair of shoes and she’ll conquer the world.’
I may not have been the brightest bulb when I graduated high school, for I was a party animal. However, I did take away that information; I needed to conquer my piece of the world. Even today as part of the last of the Babyboomer generation, I still believe you need to keep that fervor burning in your belly or your light will go out. I am putting that same kind of energy into my books. The Story of Gingerbread begins with a lady embracing her true talent.
A simple tribute, prayer or smile, may be all you can do, but for the person who receives that expression will feel like a king or queen of the mountain.
If your experience didn’t land you with those tools, today is a new day!
