Describe one positive change you have made in your life.
Have you ever thought about how practiced most of us are at resisting joyful feelings to protect ourselves from disappointment. True change happens only when deep commitment has been implemented. One of my favorite lines about change comes from the movie Beethoven, “ You, don’t understand if I change my shoes I have to change my pants. If I change my pants, I have to change my shirt. If I change my shirt, I have to change my tie.”
Once I accepted that I am a child of God; I needed to wake up every morning reminding myself of that fact with mantras that line up with that fact. 100% committed regardless of what I am not seeing and holding to “ those who live in darkness, and cannot see the light, need to trust God.”
Isaiah 50:10
